MPI paid internship program will take place in Brussels starting from September. The six-month internship will also provide the chance to work closely with senior management and policy experts. The eligible candidates will have the opportunity to organize events that will expand their professional networks.

During MPI paid internship in Europe, candidates will be expected to assist the MPI Europe team, including the senior management. They are anticipated to participate in the entire research project. They will be required to create papers and write literature summaries during the internship. It will be required of interns to assist with event administration in addition to attending relevant public and private events. Eligibility Criteria for MPI Europe Internships 2024-25:

• Candidates should be authorized to work in Belgium.
• At least Bachelor’s degree in relevant area.
• Candidates can be enrolled in a degree but should be available for 6 weeks internship in Brussels.
• Applicants should have interest in the fields of asylum, integration or migration.
• Excellent written and oral English is required.
• Candidates should be able to work in a team as well as individually.
• Candidates should have the ability to do multitasking.
• Applicants should know how to use Microsoft Access.
• Some research experience will be preferred.
